Lunch Box Notes

Before Pinterest, it would have never occurred to me to search for FREE printable lunch box notes for my first grade son.  While sometimes I'll create a fun, themed treat for his lunch, like these snowman donuts I came across (on Pinterest, of course)
Usually his lunches are pretty simple.  He likes egg salad or salami and cheese sandwiches.  I put these on the new Pepperidge Farm fish-shaped sandwich thins, or cut regular sandwich bread with a cookie cutter -- pumpkin shape at halloween, gingerbread man at Christmas.  He sometimes gets soup or mac and cheese in a thermos.  Plus some cut fruit, a Trader Joe's yogurt tube, pretzels and a sweet treat.

These lunch box notes I'm finding are great!  He gets to practice his reading and knows mommy is thinking of him... in a much cuter and more creative way than I'd ever have time to do every day on my own!  All you need is your own paper (preferably card stock) and printer.  Here's a couple of links for Christmas notes, and a couple of links for notes that would work for any day.
